F1b Goldendoodle older puppy looking for home

Apricot P&G bred Standard F1b Goldendoodle 9-month old puppy lives with his family in Tucson, AZ. Riley has a wavy coat and was purchased as an 8-week old puppy (Ciabatta from our "Bread"

litter from Autumn & Tex). He was purchased as a potential service animal. Unfortunately Riley but failed training as a hearing assistance dog due to concerns that his energy level would be too high to meet the 2 year training schedule. Riley is currently 9 months old and is looking for a new family but still resides with his family in Arizona. 

He trained with 2 other trainees and also 2 personal dogs of the trainer for 4 weeks and she reports he was just fine with the other dogs and on his walks he is fine with the dogs he meets. He is not aggressive towards children but in his enthusiasm to play with them, his size and weight could be an issue bumping into them. His owner says he does not shed. Riley’s fully housebroken, crate trained, place trained, is a great leash walker and able to go off leash. He knows all his basic commands, both verbally and with hand signals. Riley has great health. His only behavioral issue is some minor resource guarding with toys (not food).

He is extremely intelligent and loves people. Riley would be a fabulous dog for an active family as he currently walks for 3 miles a day, swims daily and zoomies in the backyard!

With his extensive training, Riley is being rehomed for $4,000 (purchase price was $500 less) but this is negotiable. Please only serious inquiries. New family will be required to sign new Spay/Neuter contract with breeder and will need to neuter between 1 yr and 18 months old.
