**UPDATE** Leia found her new home! Available Female XL Standard Goldendoodle
Updated: Sep 28
Meet Leia from Fiona & Ralphie's Star Wars litter!
She is an XL Standard Multigen Goldendoodle who is approximately 30% Golden Retriever and 70% poodle. Leia has desirable white tuxedo markings and a soft fleecy coat.
Both parents are fully OFA tested and DNA clear of testable diseases! Leia is her litter name and is temporary. She is expected to be 70-90lbs full grown.
She is unexpectedly looking for her forever family.
She had a flight booked for her to go to Washington this morning but the family decided not to take her due to concerns over a mild bilateral Base-Narrow Canines (BNC). BNC is a poodle issue, likely due to breeding for narrow muzzles that can be passed on to Goldendoodles as well. Read more about BNC here: https://www.sonoranstandarddoodles.com/bnc
We have a few puppies every litter who have this issue and it has always resolved when adult teeth come in at 4-5 months old. This is only the 2nd family in 7 years of breeding to ever pass on a puppy due to this issue and although it is covered with a contract addendum, we have never had issues with the adult teeth coming in incorrectly for these puppies.
She and her brother Luke turn 8-weeks old today! Leia has already had her first set of puppy shots and is microchipped with a temperature sensing chip. Leia is bigger and taller than her brother Luke. She weights just over 15lbs. She is playful, curious, confident and would be great in any home. Luke will likely be staying with us for our future breeding program and has a Guardian Home lined up.
Leia can still fly to someone living too far for pick up but this would need to happen in the next few days. Her height makes her almost too large to go as a carry-on in the plane cabin so after next week, this won't be an option.
