Fall Puppy Updates Plus Guardian Homes and Recent Events

5 min read

Fall is always a full season for us, and this one has been especially full of sweet moments, big decisions, and a few unexpected turns. We wanted to share a clear update for families following along, including puppy availability, recent happenings, guardian home opportunities, and some exciting news for the months ahead.

We are so grateful for the families who came to puppy pick day for Lady and Zuko’s mini and medium Goldendoodle litter. Watching families meet the puppies, notice little personality quirks, and start picturing life with their new companion is one of our favorite parts of this process.

Lady and Zuko’s puppies still have spots available

We had puppy pick day for Lady and Zuko’s litter, and we still have several spots available for families hoping to bring home a puppy soon. There are both male and female puppies available in this mini and medium Goldendoodle litter.

These puppies are expected to be ready to go home October 15 through 17, which is coming up quickly. If you have been waiting for the right timing, this may be a wonderful opportunity to welcome a puppy during the fall season.

This litter has been such a joy. The puppies are growing, learning, and beginning to show more of their individual personalities. Puppy pick day always gives us a closer look at who is curious, who is cuddly, who is playful, and who may need a little extra confidence as they grow.

If you are interested in one of Lady and Zuko’s puppies, please reach out and complete an application so we can talk through timing, fit, and the next steps.

Ivy is due this week!

Ivy was bred to a gorgeous outside poodle stud Zeke for a litter of standard F1b Goldendoodles. Originally on ultrasound halfway through gestation, we saw 7-8 puppies. On her Xray last week, we only saw three. We are so so excited for Ivy's first litter! Because of smaller litter size, we have chosen to close her waitlist and will wait to open it back up in several weeks as we decide if the puppies will go to Breeding programs or if lucky pet homes will have the chance to adopt the expected phantom, phantom merle and parti colored puppies

Chip is ready for the right guardian family

We are still looking for the right guardian home for Chip, and he is such a special little guy.

Chip is a 10-month-old, 12-pound multigen Goldendoodle with a straight coat. He

has a gorgeous golden color and the sweetest, friendliest disposition. He is wonderful with kids, and he is friendly with other dogs and animals.

That said, Chip can be a little too interested in other pets. He tends to follow them around even when this attention isn't wanted and does not always pick up on their social cues. Because of that, we feel Chip would do best as the only dog in the home.

Chip has so many wonderful things going for him:

  • He sleeps through the night in his crate.

  • He walks extremely well on a leash.

  • He is fully vaccinated.

  • He is friendly, happy, and people-focused.

  • He is ready to begin life with the right family.

Chip would be a great fit for a family that wants a small, affectionate companion and can give him plenty of attention, structure, and love. He is still young, so he will continue learning and maturing, but he already has a very sweet foundation.

For Chip, guardian home applicants must live within 30 minutes of Murrieta, California. This helps us stay close enough for future breeding-related appointments and ongoing support.

Our Guardian homes are such an important part of our program. The right guardian family gives a dog a loving, permanent home while staying connected with us for planned responsibilities. It is a meaningful relationship, and the fit matters deeply.

Paige needs time to heal before joining her guardian home

We also want to share an update on Paige, our 13-week-old poodle puppy who is still looking for a guardian home.

Paige had an unexpected injury after jumping off the couch and fracturing her femur bone.

She is currently in surgery as this post goes out and we are keeping her close while she begins the healing process. We expect a full recovery, and her well-being is the priority right now.

Because of this, we will not place Paige in a guardian home until she is fully healed. We expect that to take about six weeks.

Even though her placement will be delayed, we would still love to begin connecting with the right family for her. Paige is a standard poodle, and families interested in her should be ready for a larger dog, around 60 pounds.

Right now, the most important things for Paige are rest, healing, and careful care. Once she is recovered, we want her to have a wonderful family waiting for her, one that understands her needs and is excited to welcome her when the time is right.

If you are interested in Paige, please reach out and complete our guardian home application. We will keep interested families updated as she recovers.

We confirmed a pregnancy this week!

We have exciting news to share...

Mookie was bred to our cream European Golden Retriever Indy and we are expecting our largest litter to date! We saw 14-15 puppies on early ultrasound! These early confirmations are always exciting, but we also like to take things one step at a time and keep the mama’s health and comfort at the center of every decision. Reabsorption is possible still at this stage so we won't fill all the spots but will take Back up interest for the last few. This is a litter of XL Standard cream "Ultra" Goldendoodles and because these puppies will be more retirever than poodle, future homes should be free of dog dander allergies. We have added more spots to their litter waitlist!

The next couple of months should bring a lot of sweet updates. Between Lady and Zuko’s puppies going home in mid-October, Chip and Paige hopefully finding their guardian families, and this newly confirmed pregnancy, fall is shaping up to be a very full season.

What happens next

If you have been following along and wondering whether now is the right time to apply, here is what we currently need:

Opportunity

Best fit

Lady and Zuko puppy spot

A family ready to bring home a mini or medium Goldendoodle October 15 through 17

Chip’s guardian home

A home within 30 minutes of Murrieta, California, ideally with no other dogs

Paige’s guardian home

A family interested in a standard poodle and willing to wait until she is fully healed

We know every family’s timing is different. Some are ready now, some are watching for a future litter, and some may be curious about becoming a guardian family but still have questions. We are always happy to talk through what would be the best fit.

If one of Lady and Zuko’s puppies feels like the right match, please reach out soon, since go-home dates are almost here. If Chip sounds like he could be your little shadow, we would love to hear from you. If Paige has already caught your heart, we are still accepting guardian home interest while she heals.

Thank you for continuing to follow our puppies, our dogs, and our program. Your support means so much, whether you are waiting for your first puppy, raising one of our past puppies, or cheering us on from afar. Fall is bringing puppies, healing, hopeful matches, and new life, and we are grateful to share it with you.
