If you have been dreaming of welcoming a Goldendoodle into your family, now is the perfect time to act. We are thrilled to announce that waitlists for multiple Goldendoodle litters are opening for Spring 2026. These litters will include a variety of sizes: petite, medium, standard, and XL standard. Puppies from these litters are expected to go home in early Summer 2026. Applications are now open, and deposits are being accepted to reserve your place and pick order.
This blog post will guide you through everything you need to know about these upcoming litters, the different Goldendoodle sizes available, how to apply, and what to expect from the breeding pairs. Whether you are a first-time Goldendoodle owner or looking to add another furry friend to your home, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.

Understanding the Different Goldendoodle Sizes
Goldendoodles come in various sizes, which makes them suitable for many types of families and living situations. Here’s a quick overview of the sizes available in the upcoming Spring 2026 litters:
Petite Goldendoodles
These are the smallest Goldendoodles, typically weighing less than 25 pounds and being less than 14 inches at the top of the shoulders. They are perfect for apartment living or families looking for a smaller companion dog.
Medium Goldendoodles
Medium Goldendoodles usually weigh between 30 to 50 pounds with heights between 19-21 inches at the top of the shoulders. They offer a balance of size and energy, making them great for active families who want a playful but manageable dog.
Standard Goldendoodles
Standard Goldendoodles weigh between 45 to 65 pounds. They are ideal for families with larger homes or yards and those who want a dog with a bit more presence.
XL Standard Goldendoodles
The XL Standard size is the largest, often weighing over 65 pounds. These dogs have a strong build and are suited for families who want a big, gentle companion.
Each size has its own charm and personality traits, so it’s important to consider your lifestyle and living space when choosing the right Goldendoodle for you.
What to Expect from the Spring 2026 Litters
The upcoming litters are planned with careful consideration to health, balancing temperament, and coat quality. Each breeding pair has been selected to produce puppies that are not only beautiful but also well-adjusted and healthy.
Here are some highlights of what you can expect:
Health Screenings
All of our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health screenings to reduce the risk of hereditary issues. This means more than just DNA testing. It means full Orthopedic Foundation of Animals (OFA) health testing and Hips, Heart, Elbows, Patellas & Eyes. Dogs who have this screening will have a certificate from the OFA.
Temperament Focus
The breeding pairs are chosen for their friendly, social, and trainable temperaments, ensuring puppies that fit well into family life. Some dogs are more reserved or athletic than others and are pair to compliment the other.
Coat Types
Expect a variety of coat types, from straight to wavy to curly. All low-shedding and suitable for allergy-sensitive households.
Size Predictability
Thanks to careful pairing, the size of the puppies will be consistent with the expected size categories. If no previous litters have been produced with the pairing, we take into consideration the size of the grandparents and genetics in determining size.
Meet the Breeding Pairs
We are excited to share photos and details of the planned breeding pairs for the Spring 2026 litters. Each pair has been matched to complement each other’s strengths and produce outstanding companions.
Pair 1: Petite Goldendoodle Parents
This pair features a petite-sized Goldendoodle dam and sire, both with gentle temperaments and beautiful coats. We are using an outside 7lb stud with Chloe for her 2nd litter and expect the puppies to all be under 20lbs full grown. Apricot & Red coat colors; straight, wavy or curly textures possible. Expecting striking white abstract or tuxedo markings on some of the puppies. Chloe is expected to start her heat cycle in February 2026.

Pair 2: Medium Goldendoodle Parents
These parents are each on the opposite sides of the medium range. Kaya is from Apricot P&G's Scarlett & Duke's "Patriotic" themed litter and known for their playful nature and friendly disposition. This is her first litter and she will be bred to Apricot P&G's Jake from Cherry Lane who came to us from Illinois. Expect cuddly and human-focused puppies from this pairing! Kaya's heat cycle can start any time.

Pair 3: Standard Goldendoodle Parents
This pair includes a standard-sized dam and sire with strong family-oriented temperaments. Zeke is an outside AKC Poodle stud we are using from Kentucky. Here is the link to Zeke’s info on his owners website: https://www.kentuckianapoodles.com/zeke
Zeke has 7 AKC titles and is a certified therapy dog through the American Red Cross. His owner says he loves to retrieve, is good around other dogs, kids and farm animals including chickens. She says he’s devoted, loyal, smart and obedient and describes him as the “perfect” dog. He has OFA health testing of hips, elbows, heart and patellas and is DNA clear. Ivy is expected to start her heat any time.

Pair 4: Standard Goldendoodle Parents
This pairing is a unique opportunity to get a rare colored Goldendoodle. Brown Phantoms, Black phantoms, apricots, reds, black and brown puppies all possible! We planned to have a litter between these two as Lucy's retirement litter, but decided to have this pairing now so Lincoln can retire in his current home. Apricot P&G's Lucy from Scarlett & Duke's "Christmas" themed litter and Lincoln of Apricot P&G from Lark & Indy's "Flower" themed litter live together in a Guardian home in Escondido. Lincoln is owned by his family who completed his OFA & DNA health testing. They make quite the duo and their family describes them both as "such loves". Lincoln is always watching his owner, observant follow her around the home and laying at her feet when she sits. Lucy is playful and confident. What a wonderful mom dog she is! Lucy & Lincoln have already been bred and are expected to have puppies born January 29th-31st with a late March 2026 go home date.

Pair 5: XL Standard Goldendoodle Parents
The XL standard pair are large, calm dogs with excellent social skills and sturdy builds. Perfect for families with young children or those seeking a large-sized companion. This will be Autumn's retirement litter and she will retire with her Guardian home in San Diego. This is her 3rd breeding with Tex and we expect some of the same wonderful puppies they had in their previous "Bread" and "Mountain" themed litters! See our Previous Litters page for photos of previous puppies. Autumn is expected to start her heat in the next two months.
