Our red F1b Goldendoodle litter by Scarlett & Duke arrived yesterday morning around 2am. We had 7 puppies born and 6 survived birth. It was a LONG morning with labor taking almost 6 hours. Scarlett has continued to be an amazing mother to her puppies.
There is an even 3 females and 3 males! One apricot and the rest are red. We may see some of the reds fade to apricots by the time they go home but some of the darker red puppies will stay red as we have seen from her litter last January. Meet our adorable Christmas Litter Puppies
Scarlett is doing well and being a fantastic mom. Super protective and not wanting to leave their side. She understandings that they cannot see or hear right now so she gently nudges them when they get far away from her in the whelping box. They will get their sight and hearing around 12-14 days old. All are a healthy weight with all almost over 1 lb the first day.
