Tummy troubles

Hi. What food is your puppy on? My vet thinks the Purina pro lamb and rice is the reason Norman has tummy issues (soft stool and occasional vomiting). They Tested his stool and found no parasites.

I would love some recommendations of what’s worked for your puppy. Thanks!

I have been feeding Sage (Bailey's litter) Costco brand Kirkland Signature chicken, rice and vegetable or or lamb, rice and vegetable and she is fine. I also mix with a little of Costco brand's wet food.

I have tried salmon and rice through Purina pro, it made our dog stool to loose… Purina pro puppy chicken and rice we switched away from for the lamb and rice several years ago because of Goldendoodles sometimes having issues with poultry. It was never confirmed in any of our puppies but is one of the more common food allergies reported with Goldendoodles. We are in the process of transitioning our dogs to a PawTree kibble because, despite the cost, I have heard it is superior and can prevent common issues that lead to vet visits, gastrointestinal issues being #1! Skin issues being #2. Baileys been pretty itchy lately on her paws and I’m not sure if it is he…

Daisy ( just turned 2) is in Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach as recommended by her vet. She was having allergy symptoms and it seems to be helping! It says for in stomach issues but cannot vogue for that personally .

Hi, Norman is so cute. I have Marlee, Norman's sister. We still use Purina Pro. Our vet said it was a good choice. We have given her another flavor, chicken and rice. She seems to like it better. But she has had no issues with her stomach or bowels. We just started adding to her food SeaMeal, which was recommended by a friend. It is supposed to support digestion. Here is a picture of Marlee.

I've been feeding Nova the Purina pro plan (lamb/rice formula or chick/rice) since day 1...no issues at all! Nova (scarletts litter) is now 8 mo. Along with a variety of treats/bones. Knock on wood. No issues.....
